While it may foster further capacity expansion for existing network (balance ROI?) the real contributors will be breakthroughs in compression and transmission technologies. With number for Netflix itself contributing significantly to internet traffic, soon there may be a growing need to put some structure on privileges, revenue sharing based on origin and termination of content delivery
