Smaller MacBook Pro MagSafe Power AdapterApple finally sized down the big white brick 85W MagSafe adapter. The new MagSafe power adapter for MacBook Pro has been trimmed down to the size closer to 60W MacBook MagSafe adapter. MA938LL/A is the model number of this new 85W MagSafe adaper. According to Apple store, it should be available in three to four weeks.

    I wish Apple would drop the stupid patent on the MagSafe adapter… Typical Apple “lockout” of 3rd party hardware manufacturers. Now we have to “hack” the tip off the end of another adapter so we can make it work with iGo (or equivalent).

    Power adapters are the equivalent of the gasoline grades… everyone has their own unique requirements when a common source would save us ALL money, resources, and headaches.
