If you are desperate for a new computer, but you want Windows 7 and you don’t want to have to upgrade after the purchase you may be thinking you have to wait until October 22. Apparently, small custom PC makers are being allowed to ship full machines with Windows 7 a bit early.

PC maker Puget Systems has a little blurb on their website that says when customers order a new PC and choose Windows 7 as the OS the computer may ship with OS installed as early as October 13. That is only about a week before the official launch.

Still if you have been dreaming about a new gaming rig or PC for a while now with Windows 7, that week early is a big difference. I wonder how many other PC makers we will see shipping Windows 7 early as well.
