“a definite bonus that places this technology over solutions like MHL” … MHL also allows dongles to be powered by the phone — It isn’t a MyDP advantage. It does depend on which model MHL phone and dongle is used however.

MyDP is a better MHL. You can also find it on the new Padfone Infinity.

uhhh…….. isn’t this just MHL gender that only works with new LG phones.
sort of like Samsung changed pins on their microUSB port so that regular/older MHL gender/cables wouldn’t work for SGS3 and Note2 ……
what i’m saying is , ISN’T MYDP just a MHL ??????????
