The wireless system works fairly well but I get bad static and temporary (1-2 second) disconnections when walking outside - not continuously but if you walk around a lot it gets pretty damned annoying.

Range is about 40-60 feet, depending on walls in between you etc.

Also, this article claims the sound isn't sacrificed -- at least they couldn't notice the difference. There is simply no way you wouldn't notice. I use this Kleer system with SA1's and I got the new ones that also allow for changing tips in treble/bass. The quality is significantly and very noticeably lowered when using the kleer system. It is probably pretty close to CD quality (possibly a little worse) even though they claim thats what it is on the box.

For the most part I love these headphones and use the wireless system all the time - especially nice at the gym. Never loss of connection or static inside buildings. I bought this system for 153 dollars from Soundearphones (took 30 days to get sadly, but still satisfied.).

The Sleek Audio SA6 is a VERY nice sounding earphone - punchy bass, sweet midrange and highs any way you want them (by changing the filter tips). I'm so tempted by the Sleek Audio W-1 wireless adapter. After being disappointed by the sound quality of wireless headphones in the past the idea of a digital, lossless link between iPod and earphone sounds amazing.
