Great contest SG Team! Perfect excuse for me to get rid of my crappy, next works DirecTV and finally make the once and for all jump to Hulu. It also wouldn’t hurt for streaming my SlingPlayer from my computer to a hotel TV when I’m traveling, rather than watching TV shows on my Notebooks monitor.

What would I use it for? Hmm, seeing as I have no dvd player in my house besides the one in my laptop and desktop, I could save myself the hassle ( my wife hates exposed cables, so she tucks it in behind the tv ever night, let me just say the way and place its positioned its a hassle) of having to resetup my laptop in the living room every night my family wants to stream netflix.
Thats what I get for relying on an xbox 360 for my media needs, it died a year and a half after I purchased it and have been struggling by without one for almost 2 months now. Plus, I’ve gotten so lazy, we’ve all been watching the “When We Left Earth” series from my laptop.

I’m going to use it mainly for my club in school. I am currently a webmaster for one of the clubs in my school and we are always in constant need of a connection to the projector. Since the projector is grounded in a location fill with alot of computer cables we are not able to connect any more cables to it cause it won’t fit , therefore we can’t broadcast. We have over 400 people in the club and we really want to find a way to show updates and community service events to the 400 people via a huge screen. This would really help !

Hi Y’all-

Do you realize how big soccer is in Europe? Well, I’m currrently living in Germany and the World Cup is about to start … complete and utter pandamonium and excitement.

Now, here’s where I’d use the Warpia and become the coolest guy on the block:
I’ve got a huge flat screen HD TV hooked up to an HTPC … why would I need to stream from a laptop?… well, when I get all the guys together for the World Cup games, we’ll be doing it often outside while grilling. I would love to bring my HDTV out to the patio and still be able to stream the HD soccer matches so that all my buddies and I can enjoy it in the open air. (Not to mention that my appartment is too small to accomodate everyone inside)

Awesome idea…. I’m already envisioning it now…

I would use the Warpia’s Wireless USB A/V Adapter Set to connect my notebook to my 28″ 1080p lcd tv in my RV. Right now I have to use a big old monitor cable and 3.5″ stereo jack. With this setup we can stream netflix using my palm pre as a wireless router. Believe it or not this works. We had no over the air tv but we watched an entire season of Sparatcus last week from netflix. It would be the coup de grâce of wireless with the Warpia.

This is an awesome giveaway. I was looking for such solution from quite long time. I have 42 inch LG tv at my home which i hook up with my notebook to see some online videos, movies. I have netflix account so most of time i connect my notebook to watch movies by connecting with VGA cable. These days so many channels and i find it very hard to search any thing on cables. I find more convenient to search for my favorite videos and watch by hooking my laptop to TV. If i win this then it would definitely help me to clear all clatters of wires.

I would use a Warpia to stream movies and shows from Netflix from my desktop to my big TV in the family room. I hate wires and figuring out how to hook it up to anything so I’ve never done it and we don’t get the use out of that TV that we should. I would use this to finally stream the 300+ GB of video from my pc to my tv… Everything was working great ’til my dsl modem/wx router died and I had to replace it with an ACTIONTEC PK5000 which has some sort of firmware issue with media servers streaming content ( firmware update is pending….yeah right)…

I’d use it for just the opposite. I already have and HTPC in the living room but have shrink the video playing to check email, etc, or keep a laptop near by. With this I could put a second monitor next to the couch so that I could take care of little tasks without interrupting the video feed.
