I actually own a set of these for recording, by studio monitor standards these are really small for pc they are CRAZy big but I will say this for most uses theyre a greaT NATURAL( not colored, overbearing treble) sounding set of speakers. ALOT of bass too way more than I expected. def great buy!!!!!!!!

It depends on how good the sound hardware is on your tv. I currently have a very expensive sound system (my dad’s) hooked up to our fairly budget tv and there is no unwanted noise at all. I’d say it should be fine as long as ur tv isn’t very cheap.
