Prada doesn’t play any format other than mp3 (the reviewer is mistaken, thinking LG went as far as to make Prada a multi-format player) and even though it states 3GP for video, the only ones it will play are the ones taken by the phone, e.g. you cannot convert your movies to watch on Prada.
Overall it is just a lovely looking phone. The problem is that it’s a $300 phone added to $1000 Prada name or vice versa. Everyone expects features to go with the price tag, when in fact there are none. Once it will sell for what it’s really worth, which is approx $250-$300, people will appreciate it for what it has, rather than get disappointed by what it has not. Lets face it, it’s a primitive featurless phone packed in a glossy touch package. There are better featured phones out there for about 1/4 of Prada’s original retail and you’ll be wiser to give this doody from LG a miss if you hope to have something that matches the looks.

i have a prada and have loads software on to memory card but the mp3 player wont play it and it does not even show that the music is on the memory card. how can this be.? does anyone know ow to play music on this phone? HELP

Ashleigh, the Prada was nice when it launched, but I’d recommend going for something more up-to-date now. There are plenty of interesting, stylish touchscreen handsets out at the moment: our sister-site http://www.PhoneMag.com should be able to help you decide!

I LOVE my Prada, dont get me wrong. but im kinda ticked off that the case that it comes with has scratched the hell out of it!! =(

The case for the iPhone isnt as nice lookin as the Prada, but at least it doesnt scratch the thing its supposed to be protecting from scratches, althou tbh, i think thats the only upside to the iPhone. other than that the Prada is totally awsome

The Prada is cool, but the iPhone is exceptionally cool!

The only thing I think the Prada had going for it over the iPhone is the fact that the camera has a flash, that’s a nice addition.

iPhone like device with all the bells and whistles for their respective customers. Banking on another company’s success can have quite the undesired effect though: Witness the very bad press that the HTC Touch iClone has been getting.
