SlashGear Morning Wrap-Up: March 13, 2012

It's been an above-average set of hours since our last big update, with both the nighttime hours and the morning being full of big drops such as Sony's brand new a57 DSLR and the awesome new set of S-Series ultra-slim LED backlit LCD displays from Acer. Meanwhile Twitter has decided to purchase Posterous and the Costa Concordia is getting searched by robots. Of course we're not going to start the day without your fair share of iPad news, with Apple speaking on Proview in the early morning hours.

Next we've got some updates on Samsung Galaxy S II's Android 4.0 ICS update. Over in Germany, they've got their first taste of Spotify while extradition teams in the USA are trying to get Dotcom from Megaupload, he speaking on how the US Government used his service before they shut it down and turned him out. And what paragraph is complete without a little more iPad? over in Vietnam they've got a brand new iPad unboxing and they're not afraid to show it.

Pentax is coming on strong with both the K-01 interchangeable lens camera and the Optio WG-2 and Optio WG-2 GPS. Motorola and Apple have been talking legal business lately, the news today being that they appear to have been trying to get all Android OEMs off the patent hook. Then of course do not forget about the most popular Android of all: Samsung's Galaxy line, complete with a ceramic Galaxy S III well on the way!
