SlashGear Evening Wrap-Up: May 8, 2012

Happy Tuesday, everyone. We're still in the thick of CTIA, and we have all sorts of big mobile stories for you. So let's get right to it - Kyocera Rise and Hydro budget ICS smartphone hands-on. And that's not all; we also have a look at one of the major LTE phones - HTC Evo 4G LTE hands-on. Of course, though, CTIA isn't the only thing making news. We have to talk about this - The driverless cars that want to run Google off the road.

Featured: So, among all the stuff we saw at CTIA, there was one device that stood out, not because it's the first to do anything, but just because it is different than the other Android fare that we saw. So without further ago - LG 3D Max first impressions. It takes guts to go for a 3D phone in a world where customers have shown a lot of apathy toward 3D.

Zuckerberg, Mastercard, & Wii U: So we'll finish the wrap-up with a mix of other CTIA stuff and other tech news that made headlines. We have to start with this - Zuckerberg a no-show at Facebook's Boston IPO roadshow. Very curious indeed. And here's something else that could pique someone's interest - Mastercard demonstrates PayPass with Galaxy S II. And finally, for all you gamers out there - Nintendo Wii U launch games leaked.
