beware people, you have to cancel the subscription within the 27 days of your start date, otherwise you will be charged automatically in the second month!

Trial must be redeemed by 15/11/2012. Offer available only to existing Skype users who have been registered with Skype more than 29 days. To qualify for the offer, you must provide valid payment details. After the first month, your subscription will automatically continue and payments will be taken monthly unless you cancel within 27 days of the start date.

Free, but they ask for my credit card or my PayPal account. Thanks, but no thanks. I won’t give that info to a company with such a long story of security and privacy issues.

This is not really accurate. Skype-to-Skype calls are free anywhere in the world. They still are, and I use it all the time. The international rates are also crazy cheap anyway.

To get this free month, you need to sign up for their Unlimited World too.
