Now, three months later and after the iPhone 4, Apple have done some catching up, duplicating some of the functionality of Skype with their FaceTime.

I hope to hear tomorrow on the Apple event in Yerba Buena Center about when FaceTime will finally become an open standard as was promised months ago.

It is integrated in N900 since the phone’s launch in November 2009, and now you can make free video calls over 3G. Needles to say the application runs concurrently with other apps so that you can receive Skype calls anytime.
The iPhone has a lot of catching up to do regarding Skype.
