Although the IP lawsuits don’t seem to be going well lately for apple, so that end of the strategy might be a bust.

WL Messenger, that came ages after the iOS version and sucks, is made by some other company for MS and Hotmail for Android, while okay, still is a poor attempt. Not very clever from MS I’d say.
