Skullcandy Crusher Wireless headphones pack bass you hear and feel

Wireless headphone users looking for an over the ear set with big bass have a new option from Skullcandy called the Crusher Wireless. The headphones connect to your mobile device via Bluetooth and are made using premium materials and promise an immersive audio experience. The headphones have integrated Crusher Technology and stereo sound.

"We want provide users a more immersive experience with music, movies, and really all media content. We want them to feel like they are in the front row of the concert or inside the movie experience," said Hoby Darling, Skullcandy President and Chief Executive Officer. "Through our research and development efforts, we have worked to provide an enhanced audio and tactile experience that makes nearly all forms of media more fun and engaging for users. The new Crusher Wireless is a game changer in how people experience media content."

Crusher Wireless features an integrated amp that is able to power audio and immersion drivers for what Skullcandy calls a dual-sensory and dual-channel bass experience. This brings a haptic bass response with directional bass that can be heard and felt.

Presumably this means that the Crusher Wireless headphones vibrate your head to allow you to feel the bass while you hear it. This haptic experience can be controlled via adjustable bass and the headphones have a noise-isolating fit, elevated audio quality. The internal battery is good for up to 40 hours of use per charge thanks in part to an auto on/off circuit. Crusher Wireless headphones are available now for $199 in select retail locations and online.
