'Simpsons' full series marathon coming to FXX (again) in November

This isn't deja vu, it's just happening again: FXX plans to have another The Simpsons every episode marathon starting around Thanksgiving and running into early December, the same thing it did back in 2014. The first "Every Episode Ever" marathon was a big hit following FX's acquisition of The Simpsons back catalog rights, and involved airing every episode of the series in order.

FXX confirmed the news via its Twitter account. This time around, the network will be airing 600 straight episodes of The Simpsons in order starting on November 24, Thanksgiving, and continuing to do so for the following nearly two weeks, wrapping things up on December 6. As EW notes, the last episode it airs in the marathon will be "Treehouse of Horror XXVII," which will first air on FOX next month.

The 2014 marathon involved 552 episodes, having at the time been a record breaker — obviously with new seasons since then, this new marathon will be longer at 600 episodes, and as such it will break its own past record for the newest longest-running TV marathon. It, too, may help bring in even more viewers for FXX, which saw its viewership spike during the first marathon.

FXX is part of the trio of stations "FX, FXX, and FXNOW." Collectively, they boast a wide array of hit shows, including things like "Archer," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "The Americans," "American Horror Story," "The Strain," "Sons of Anarchy," and more.
