It looks like the silver Nintendo DS Lite rumors may be true. A leaked Best Buy ad features the yet to be officially announced silver DS for $129.99.
Rumors have been circulating for a while about a silver version of the S, but until now no one had seen actual proof that the device was in production. Now that the silver S has popped up in a Best Buy ad we can be pretty sure that it does in fact exist, and will be released sooner rather than later.
Is the silver DS big news to you? How many of you get excited about consoles being released in new colors? Is anyone planning on picking one of these up?

Our Nintendo rep said that the Silver was coming out about 2 weeks ago and that they’re going to “quietly” going to retire the white DS systems, similar to the Coral Pink being replaced by the Metallic Rose color already.
It’s been out in Europe for a while now. I bought one for my brother back in april.
