		<description><![CDATA[Jamieson, I think your wrong.  The fixed angles in SH1-4 conveyed the scenes exactly as the designers intended them to be interpreted for maximum dread and emotional conveyance.  It made the game more cinematic and the story more immersive.  Also, I thought the textures were a lot more impressive and ominous in those fixed-angle games.

SH needs to stop trying to emulate Resident Evil&#039;s new design.  It&#039;s not the least bit scary, and only succeeds b/c it&#039;s like a free-range rail-shooter.  But Silent Hill isn&#039;t about putting bullets in enemies approaching from every angle, or looking up at blandly-textured ceilings for worthless treasure.  I cannot stress this enough; the fixed-angles of the numbered games existed b/c the designers took the care to create an experience that presented a disturbing, plot-centric environment EXACTLY as it was intended to be interpreted.
