Louis over at Gizmodo has managed to acquire (likely through sexual favours) one of Ricavision’s new Vista SideShow Remotes, a fugly handy way to interact with your media PC thanks to the latest OS’ support for dinky supplementary displays.  Hooking up via Bluetooth or IR, it has a 2.5-inch QVGA display to show everything from mp3 details, TV scheduling and photos to your latest emails and RSS content.

No review yet, but some initial feedback from a few hours use: despite the less-than-stellar looking metal-effect plastic, it actually manages to feel pretty solid in the hand.  Well, all except for the slide-out numeric keypad which is as flimsy as your girlfriend’s excuse that “it happens to all guys at one time or another”.
