After showing up on a list of imminent T-Mobile USA handsets, the Sidekick LX 2009 has made another appearance. This time the 3G messaging handset is listed – in two color versions, “carbon” and “orchid” – in T-Mobile’s own inventory system.
The earlier leak suggested that the handset would launch in roughly a month’s time, on May 13th. As for the colors, “carbon” is likely a metallic gray or black, while “orchid” could be anything from cream to purple.
The Sidekick LX 2009 (aka the Sidekick 2009) is believed to have 3G connectivity, a 3.2-inch display running at 854 x 480 resolution, integrated GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and a flash. It’s also meant to have updated software, bringing improved full-HTML browsing and YouTube support.
