You know like after they tried to take legal action against jail breaking.

Can’t really pin this as an android thing though. Samsung can’t update their wp7 devices either and Microsoft doesn’t exactly have hands off control over wp7 either. Samsung just can’t upgrade without the help of the folks over at xda.
