Are you kidding? You can't have a company give you a cookie, call it a cookie, then give you a banana and call that a cookie and be alright with it. It's noone's "fault," it's just a shitty marketing situation.

Also why are you so mad?

Who cares what they call it?

The real issue is this-

They went from having a 3G network that was definitely the best and fastest by a good margin (my point of reference here is mostly Verizon), to being in the position of having a "4G" network (note my use of quotes, since NO ONE advertising a 4G network actually has one) that's slower than the others, by a noticable margin.

But now, they have a new enhancement that's more in line with other's 4G speeds.

The real issue is that people are locked into this "G" way of thinking. That's your fault, not theirs.

Do you care if they called the current one 3.5G and now this one 4G? Does that somehow make it better than if they called the last one 4G and the current one something else? What matters is what speed you get - and it's as if people are criticizing AT&T for making an improvement. "But.. but.. you've already GOT something with that label! How dare you improve! What will you label it?"

Because THAT'S what matters. The label.

Great.
