		<description><![CDATA[This is just speculation, but I believe some &#039;depth&#039; is necessary to achieve the 3D images right in front of the subjects eyes, which would would explain the large front section. As for the oversized ear-muff headphones and what not, well maybe it was a design choice to incorporate the necessary weight for the counterbalance. 

...Or maybe they just wanted it to look like some kind of retro SciFi tech.]]></description>
