Sennheiser SP 10 and SP 20 portable speakerphones launch

Sennheiser has launched two new portable speakerphones, the SP 10 and SP 20. Both models are targeted at "business professionals", and are promised to mix stylish design with the functions needed for use in the conference room. The SP 10 and SP 20 are largely the same, but differ in their connectivity options (the SP 20 has more of them), and both are said to be appropriate for group conference calls, whether personal or amongst a small group of individuals. Both models are available now for purchase.

The SP 10 and SP 20 both feature a round design with simple controls and a sleek speaker grill. The SP 10 is the lesser of the two models, offering users connectivity with just a PC or softphone, while the SP 20 boosts that with both a USB cable for the aforementioned devices, as well as a 3.5mm jack for use with mobile devices.

The speakerphones are plug-and-play; says Sennheiser, users simply plug them in and then are ready to talk, no additional hassle necessary. One of their biggest advantages is that both models are portable — they can be tucked away in a bag for conference calls while travelling, and can be easily moved from one meeting room to another.

There's a dual talk function, as well as echo cancellation for smooth audio performance and conversations. Controls include a mute button, volume control, and a hands-free option. The SP 10 is priced at $179.95 USD, and the SP 20 is priced at $199.95 USD.
