The much anticipated joint development of Canon and Toshiba, the SED TV will unfortunately not be making a showing at the upcoming CES. The on-going patent law-suit from Nano Proprietary, the company that licensed the technology to Canon, is preventing the transfer of the license to Canon and Toshiba’s joint company. The construction of Toshiba’s SED plant may be delayed or completely canceled.
