Olympus’ full 2013 rough-and-tumble camera range hands-on

Olympus is taking the spirit of CES to heart and then some, announcing six brand new cameras during the trade show. These cameras range from sleek and slim to tough and rugged, so there should be something for almost everyone with this new range. Cameras included in this grand CES 2013 showing include the Stylus Tough TG-2 iHS, Stylus Tough TG-830 iHS, Stylus Tough TG-630 iHS, Stylus SH-50MR iHS, Stylus SZ-16 iHS, and Stylus SZ-15, each of them prepared for a 2013 release. Canon PowerShot N hands-on

Canon has a lot of stuff on display here at CES 2013, but it's introducing one new camera that's small in size but packs quite a few features. It goes by the name of the PowerShot N, and like the recently released Samsung Galaxy Camera, one of the biggest features of this camera is Internet connectivity. With the PowerShot N, you can not only connect to your social network and upload the photos you take with your camera, but you can also connect to other devices to view photos on those. Monster MVP Carbon headset hands-on

Today at CES, Monster announced a partnership with EA Sports and revealed the MVP Carbon headset. We ended up getting our hands on the new product at Monster's booth at Pepcom, and got a close up look of the new design. The headset features 5.1 channel surround sound processing that Monster refers to as HDHS, or "High Definition Headphone Surround." Read The Full Story

LaCie Blade Runner by Philippe Starck hands-on

LaCie has a tradition of putting a little more thought than the average external-drive manufacturer into its products, but the Blade Runner by Philippe Starck takes things a little further than the norm. A splay of aluminum fins encapsulating an amorphous blob, finished in tactile matte grey, the Starck-designed storage hooks up via USB 3.0 and is fresh to CES this week. This week at Digital Experience (during CES 2013) we caught up with the case makers at Cygnett where they had none other than the world famous TATS CRU joining the fun for fully unique customized iPhone 5 ICON cases. Nikon D5200 hits US in late-January: We go hands-on

Nikon's D5200 DSLR has been floating around outside the US since November, but it's only today that the camera company has confirmed a launch for US shutterbugs. Verizon’s Samsung ATIV Odyssey hands-on

Verizon's footprint in Windows Phone devices is still relatively light, and so the Samsung ATIV Odyssey is a welcome addition to the carrier's CDMA network, despite the somewhat humble specifications. Going head-to-head with cheaper Nokia phones, the ATIV Odyssey packs a 1.5GHz dualcore Snapdragon S4 processor and a 5-megapixel camera, but in the hand its biggest distinguishing feature is the relatively compact size.
