Netflix has launched Super HD, offering a new top-tier of streaming video quality for those on select ISPs, but there's Ultra HD content in the pipeline thanks to a special partnership with Samsung. Funneled out through Netflix's Open Connect delivery network direct to ISPs, the Super HD video is even higher quality 1080p than the streaming company offers as standard, with certain 3D titles available in the US. Meanwhile, at CES, Netflix is demonstrating the fruits of its 4K resolution experiments with Samsung.

Porsche Communication Management System with Harman’s Aha hands-on
This week the folks at Harman have pushed their Aha system to several vehicle communications systems including Porsche, this system being the one we're having a peek at today. Porsche's Communication Management System is shown here working with the newly announced Aha integrated with vehicle systems. Here we're seeing the full 30,000 Aha internet-based stations in action, everything from internet radio to Facebook integration.

Panasonic has jumped on the 4K bandwagon, but not just in TVs: the company has a ridiculously appealing 4K Windows 8 tablet at CES, squeezing 3840 x 2160 pixels into a 20-inch frame. Officially a prototype, though one which Panasonic tells us is very likely to see production, the unnamed slate may not fit into your purse like an iPad mini, but it does have some compelling applications in graphic design, video editing, architecture, and more. Samsung's Ultra HD TV reveal at CES yesterday was certainly impressive, but the company only brought out its "smallest" set to show on stage - there's a 110-inch behemoth waiting in the wings. Having joked that the larger model - which sits at the top of a three set line-up, with a 95-incher in-between - wouldn't fit through the doors of the conference hall where it held its opening presentation, Samsung saved the largest Ultra HD for an eye-searing display on its stand.

Turtle Beach has made a big appearance here at CES 2013 by announcing several new headsets that are both wireless and wired. They also announced the SEVEN series for consoles, PCs, and mobile platforms that include “tournament-grade” quality and functionality. Samsung DV150F point-and-shoot with front-facing display hands-on
The Samsung DV150F is one of several cameras revealed this week carrying the ability to work with the company's SMART CAMERA 2.0 software. Here we're finding that even more enticing than the promise of next-generation sharing abilities is the display sitting on the front of the machine, giving us the ability to take full-on self-shots without the need of a mirror or a rather sizable flip screen.
