Late in the week on the fourth full day of CES 2012, we got the opportunity to sit down with Intel's Mark Miller to speak about Medfield, Clover Trail, and the future of mobile computing in the Intel environment. What Intel intends on bringing to the market is not just powerful devices such as tablets, but these devices with elements of differentiation in the silicon itself rather than in the device's specifications. With both Medfield and Clover Trail in the works for Android and Windows 8, Intel is aiming to take on the mobile world with a vengeance.

Razer’s Project Fiona concept brings PC gaming to the tablet world
We heard about an ambitious new project from the gaming experts at Razer even before CES started, but a staggered release kept us away from their ostentatious booth until now. The "Project Fiona" concept device is a full x86 Windows 7 computer squeezed into a tablet device. Two things make Fiona unique: one, it's a tablet built wit the PC horsepower for serious modern gaming, and two, its unique control mechanism pairs physical buttons and triggers with a full touchscreen.

Altec Lansing 5000 series all-in-one speakers
Altec Lansing has delivered finely tuned speakers for years, and they continue to improve at this year's CES with their 5000 series. They have two noticeably new all-in-one speaker systems available, and with identical form factors. However, they differ primarily in functionality rather than hardware. Mimobot Mimomicro USB microSD card reader hands-on
There's one whole heck of a lot of devices here at CES 2012 that cost a major amount of cash, but if there's one company that can bring the smallest and least expensive item to the show and still make a splash. This Mimobot's brand new Mimomicro USB microSD card reader, complete with officially licensed Star Wars characters making up the bulk of their design. Unlike the first waves of Mimobot USB devices, these don't do anything on their own, they read microSD cards for your USB-enabled device on the fly.

Qualcomm Snapdragon GameCommand Hands-on
The folks at Qualcomm have been kind enough to give us a tour of their booth and a demonstration of quite a few rather impressive items, not least of all Snapdragon GameCommand. This application is now available for you on the Android Market, it being a representation of Qualcomm's renewed dedication to app developers with listings of games optimized by the developers working directly with Qualcomm to make their apps work amazingly on Snapdragon-toting devices. While the devices that these apps work on is not limited to those containing a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, they are made to work absolutely the best there.

Garmin nuvi 3590LMT GPS navigation, hands-on
The Garmin nuvi 3590LMT has essentially everything available on their previous models, but adds a few much welcomed features and the thinnest 5" screen to date. The first of which is voice-activated navigation. It works as it should, and unlike Google services, voice control doesn't require internet access. This makes it much more responsive, an almost essential quality while on the road.

Cygnett InSound Noise-Cancellation headphones hands-on
The InSound noise-cancellation headphones were on display at CES: ShowStoppers 2012, and we took them home with us to put them to the test. After opening the protective case, it contained the headset, two audio cables (one red, one black), and an in flight adapter. Unlike conventional headphones, they require two AAA batteries to operate - noise-cancellation engaged or not. After installing the batteries, I tested to see how effective the noise-cancellation setting actually were.

Corning shows off 82″ multi-touch display with Gorilla Glass 2
Today at CES we managed to run into an awesome 82" multi-touch display being ran by Corning. What we have on video below is actually a quick demonstration of the new 82" display showcasing its unlimited amounts of multi-touch points, stylus support, and more from the guys at Perceptive Pixel. What makes this display special is that it's the world's largest Gorilla Glass 2 display.

Lumus DK-32 wearable display hands-on
Technology made by the Lumus group has been applied to a pair of glasses shown at CES 2012, and today we're getting our first chance to take a peek at a demo unit. These glasses are not a consumer product, instead being shown off here as a demonstration piece of equipment so that the Lumus technology can be picked up by a manufacturer and made into a real deal for-sale piece of equipment. Samsung SMART Hub streams DVD content over WiFi
There's a decent selection of WiFi gadgets here at CES, and Samsung seems to be combining a little of the old and the new. Their new SMART Hub combines an external DVD disc drive and a conventional WiFi router, allowing connected devices to stream DVD movies and CD music across the local network. In a time when more and more Ultrabooks, netbooks and the like are making do without an optical drive, this could be an extremely useful addition.
