Crysis 3 official: due Spring 2013

We saw the leak just the other day, and now EA and Crytek have announced the third game in the series, Crysis 3. The game will follow the story of Prophet, who returns to New York only to discover that the city has been covered by a Nanodome constructed by the Cell Corporation. The game will be powered by the now famous CryENGINE, which reached version 3.4 just three days ago ahead of the game’s announcement.

This week we’ve gotten the opportunity to take a peek at a game that’ll be released on the Android Market and through the Tegra Zone – Zen Pinball THD, exclusively for Tegra 2 dual-core processor-toting mobile devices. This is a game that allows you to take your love of pinball and apply it to a handful of utterly fabulous tables, both branded by the developers behind the game and developed inside other universes such as Marvel Comics with the Fantastic Four and Spiderman. Asus Ultrabooks to be called Zenbooks

We have been talking about the Intel Ultrabooks that are heading to market for a while now. The machines will be offered from several computer makers including HP, Asus, and Acer. Initially Intel promised an under $1000 price and some of the Ultrabooks will come in under $1000. Those will be basic stripped models however. Most will sell for well for that $1000 tag. Creative Zen X-Fi3 Hands-on [Video]

This week at IFA 2011 we’ve been able to get our hands on more than a couple devices, taking lovely videos as we go – this particular device is certainly not like the others in that instead of a smartphone, tablet, Ultrabook, or pair of earbuds, we’ve got an odd little music player. This is the Creative Zen X-Fi3, and as Creative shows us, it’s meant to be a competitor in the currently iPod-dominated portable music player market. It’s got a several features that are sure to turn your head including X-Fi Crystalizer audio enhancement and the ability to play FLAC files, but are they enough to get past the fact that this device does not have a touchscreen display? We’ve come to expect as much from basically every little portable device like this on the market – does it need to be in tact in order for us to love a product?

Creative ZEN X-Fi3 media player is packed with cool features for under $100

Creative has trotted out its latest media player today and the little thing is pretty cool looking. The player is called the ZEN X-Fi3 media player and it has a 2-inch screen and measures 65 x 45.5 x 12.5mm. Creative launches D80 Bluetooth speaker

I mentioned just a bit ago that Creative had unveiled a new and affordable digital music player called the M300 that starts about $50 and supports Bluetooth. If you have your eye on that new M300 audio player, or if you have a MP3 player that supports Bluetooth already, Creative also has a new Bluetooth speaker. The little audio player has a very compact design that measures in at 55 x 44 x 12mm inside and has some nice features that fans of digital music on the go will appreciate. iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iMovie Make Breaking News Footage

With the iPad 2 having just touched down a week ago, with many still without the device, creative feats are already surfacing from the first music video to now the first breaking news footage. A Minneapolis resident, Robert Stephens, who also happens to be co-founder of Geek Squad, was on his way to work when he recorded a gas explosion on his iPhone 4, which he then edited using iMovie on his iPad 2. Why It’s So Hard to Compete with the iPad

With few surprises, techies were underwhelmed with Apple’s iPad 2 announcement, but I’m confident that consumers will be thrilled with the product. Apple already had a massive lead in the consumer tablet market it created, and these “underwhelming” upgrades should keep the company comfortably ahead. Apple has given competitors an opening by sticking to 3G, and it did not further pressure them with a lower entry price point or higher-resolution display.
