We've already seen plenty of Viliv's S10 Blade convertible touchscreen netbook, criticized its pricing and watched it strut its stuff on video; all that's left is the full review, and UMPC Portal have just that.  They've been playing with the S10 Blade for a few weeks now, and come away mightily impressed. Viliv S7 lands at reviewers, gets video unboxing & hands-on

, Sep 15th 2009 Discuss [0]

It's not quite the same as having a Viliv S7 here in our sweaty, bitten-to-the-quick hands, but we'll certainly settle for an unboxing video for that vicarious, new-gadget thrill.  As we commented the other day, several S7 units have been winging their way to reviewers worldwide, with jkkmobile and jkOnTheRun both receiving theirs this week.  From the former we have an unboxing, while the latter has a live gallery and video demo. Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI touchscreen netbook with 4GB RAM

, Aug 17th 2009 Discuss [0]

Considering we were so quietly excited about the upcoming 7-inch Viliv S7 last week (and, frankly, before), we can't really argue with this new touchscreen convertible netbook either.  The Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI has a name that's both daft and reminiscent of early Eee PC models, but inside there's that same Intel Atom Z520 processor that keeps popping up to frustrate us. We didn't especially like the Z520 when it came in the Acer Aspire One 751 - in fact we felt it hopelessly undermined it - but there's always the chance that the dainty Suzuki might make better use of its equally-dainty CPU. Anticipation for Viliv's next UMPC, the S7, is increasing, and considering the Korean company has become the poster-child for the much-misunderstood segment that's no real surprise.  After being spotted in the wild last week, now Lazion have managed to pin an S7 down for some battery testing. Viliv X70 7-inch UMPC gets video first-impressions

, Jun 3rd 2009 Discuss [0]

For the past few months, nobody even vaguely interested in MIDs could've escaped hearing about Viliv's S5.  Now, the company is obviously hoping to drum up the same enthusiasm about their X70, another Atom-based device but this time with a larger, 7-inch WSVGA touchscreen.  The first review device has landed over at jkOnTheRun, and that can only mean one thing: a first-impressions video.
