If you switched cable providers for the express purpose of being able to watch TV on your gaming console, then hopefully the companies AT&T and Microsoft were not part of that decision. AT&T has dropped its U-verse TV service from the Xbox 360, but it's only temporary as the company says it wants to tweak the service so that it can "improve and enhance this functionality."

AT&T Q4 2011: 7.6m iPhones activated, revenue hits $32.5bn
AT&T has revealed its Q4 2011 financial results, with incredibly strong iPhone activations - contributing 7.6m to 9.4m smartphone sales - helping boost revenue by $1.1bn year-on-year to $32.5bn. Smartphones and mobile broadband were the stand-outs for the carrier, with 82-percent of postpaid device sales being smartphones and postpaid ARPU (average revenue per user) up to $63.76.

Samsung Exhilarate touts eco-friendly design and AT&T 4G LTE

AT&T details Developer Program starts with API Platform
This week AT&T re-introduced themselves as a large proponent in the developer world for the mobile world, saying the apps that the developers create are the fundamental bits of the mobile experience. This developer program started all the way back in 1996, 16 years ago that is, much MUCH before the first "smart" phone. They began with their brand new API platform this week, this providing APIs, Tools, and Support to developers across the board, the development console powered by Apigee and the whole system based on HTML 5.

AT&T U-verse customers can get industry’s first wireless receiver on Oct 31
I think in every place I have ever lived I have stood in at least one room and wondered why the builder put the cable outlet in that spot. Generally, if you want the cable outlet on another wall you end up having to get a new outlet added to the room or running a cable under the floor or across the room. If you live in an AT&T U-verse area you will have a new option starting on October 31 that will make it a snap to get your U-verse box in any room you want, on any wall, without having to use wires or cables even if that room has no outlet.

Xbox 360 TV expanded experience made official
The folks at Microsoft have announced plans today to expand their Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE functionality to include a slew of new services, partners, and functionality. More than 20 countries are involved in the rolling out of this expansion, partners ranging from HBO to Verizon to the BBC to Televisa, everyone’s in on it! There’s a unified dashboard for Xbox LIVE, Comcast Xfinity integration, 26 new channels of live TV in the USA, further Bing search integration with voice-powered search, “more entertainment options” including Zone marketplace expansion with Xbox LIVE and Kinect, a handful of new apps, sharing, and music discovery. Is it time everyone jumped aboard this Xbox 360 as entertainment station train? Quite possibly yes!
AT&T U-Verse Mobile App Now Available For Infuse 4G, HTC HD7S, And More
AT&T has been offering a handy U-Verse Mobile app that lets customers watch TV shows and schedule recordings directly from their smartphones. The app is already available to several devices, but today the company has expanded the selection to include the Samsung Infuse 4G, the LG Thrive, LG Phoenix, and the HTC HD7S.

Wherefore Art Thou, TiVo?
Early last year and late in 2009, tech fiends were debating the best product to come out in the first decade of the new millenium. My answer was decisive: TiVo. Not just the DVR in general, I mean, specifically, TiVo. I love TiVo. Tech friends, always quick to correct technical errors, would point out that TiVo actually appeared in 1999, but they did not have to tell me that. I owned one in 1999. I might have been TiVo’s best customer of all time. But this month I shut off my TiVo service and switched to something different.
Infuse 4G Review
How big is too big? It’s an important question when you’re looking at the Samsung Infuse 4G, AT&T’s latest HSPA+ smartphone and a device that’s as sizable face-on as it is slender from the side. A close relative of the much-loved Galaxy S II, it also uses Samsung’s Super AMOLED Plus display technology, only now stretched to a whopping 4.5-inches. More to love, or too much to handle?
