Panasonic's oddly named Eluga smartphone will be just one of at least two Android smartphones the company brings to Mobile World Congress it has confirmed, ahead of more ambitious consumer tablet plans in 2012. The company had never been shy about its European ambitions for the next three to four years - aiming for 1.5m sales in Europe this year alone - and there will be at least two devices to help carve out a place in the Android marketplace, Panasonic told Pocket-lint. The HP TouchPad will soon be getting a 4G version on AT&T's HSPA+ network. The 4G model just passed through the FCC today with documents showing all its proper 4G labels, indicating that it's on track for release sometime this month. Panasonic debuts Toughbook CF-H2 tablet for field workers

Panasonic has rolled out a new tablet in the UK called the CF-H2. The tablet is aimed at the field worker that needs a tablet to stay productive that can survive abuse that goes with working in the field. The tablet is powered by an Intel Core i5-2557M ULV processor operating at 1.7GHz. The processor also has vPro technology and Intel HD 3000 graphics. Panasonic gives NASA AG-3DA1 3D camcorder and shoots it into space on final shuttle mission

Panasonic has announced that it has given NASA some hardware to take to the ISS aboard the final space shuttle mission with Atlantis that launched last Friday. Panasonic sent one of its new and cool full 3D AG-3DA1 camcorders along with a BT-3DL2550 25.5-inch 3D LCD and a rugged Toughbook notebook computer to NASA.
