ASUS Eee PC T101MT gets early review: disappointing [Video]

ASUS' Eee PC T101MT 10-inch convertible multitouch tablet is still showing up as shipping in 1-2 months over at Amazon Germany, where it was spotted hanging around waiting for preorders earlier this month, but review units already seem to be poking their noses out.  Over at AllTouchTablet they found a T101MT waiting on their doorstep, and so did the only honest thing and reviewed it.

ASUS Eee PC Touch Series tablet quietly shown at CES 2010

ASUS Eee PC Touch Series tablet quietly shown at CES 2010

ASUS managed to put together one of the more interesting CES 2010 press conferences, thanks to their Bang & Olufsen laptop collaboration and Waveface concept, but curiously they didn't make mention of the much-rumored Eee Tablet.  However that's not to say the touchscreen device wasn't on show; both Carrypad and jkkmobile discovered a Tegra 2 based slate described as the ASUS Eee PC Touch Series at NVIDIA's stand.

ASUS Eee Keyboard (finally) coming February 2010?

ASUS Eee Keyboard (finally) coming February 2010?

ASUS' Eee Keyboard has been so long coming, we've reached another CES before it has arrived on the market.  First announced back at CES 2009, the last we heard about the touchscreen-nettop-in-a-keyboard was some nebulous statement from ASUS UK the underlying message of which was that they didn't have a clue when it would go on sale.  Happily things have firmed up since then, and ASUS are now apparently claiming that the Eee Keyboard will drop in February 2010.

Malata R108T budget Win7 convertible touchscreen netbook

Looking mighty familiar, but with a heritage that escapes our memory right now, Malata's latest netbook is one of the increasingly popular convertible touchscreen models.  The Malata R108T packs a rotating 10-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen - which we're presuming is resistive - together with the usual dreary roster of 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of memory and 160GB hard-drive, but makes up for that by apparently being priced at around $435.

ASUS Eee PC T91MT multitouch netbook gets reviewed

ASUS Eee PC T91MT multitouch netbook gets reviewed

ASUS' Eee PC T91MT multitouch-capable convertible touchscreen netbook may only just be available in the US, but that hasn't stopped MyT91's Kubel from scripting up a full review of the finger-friendly device.  According to his report, the T91MT not only has a great keyboard but a reasonably effective touchscreen; it can only recognize two points of contact and has neither palm-rejection nor pressure-sensitivity, but it still manages to offer more touch-control than previous versions of the T91.

ASUS Eee Keyboard latest version gets video demo; might be delayed again?

ASUS Eee Keyboard latest version gets video demo; might be delayed again?

The ASUS Eee Keyboard saga continues, and we're beginning to think it's the company's version of vaporware.  At their latest launch event in London, UK, this week, the Eee Keyboard - which squeezes a nettop and touchscreen into a keyboard form-factor, and was first debuted at CES back in January - was conspicuous by its absence, with ASUS telling Electricpig that the device was still mired in testing; however, ASUS have also been demonstrating their latest version of the Eee Keyboard to NetbookNews, with nary a mention of release delays.
