ASUS Eee PC T101H gets Atom N450, coming Jan 2010?

ASUS Eee PC T101H gets Atom N450, coming Jan 2010?

The wire has been pretty barren when it comes to word of ASUS' upcoming 10.2-inch convertible touchscreen netbook, the Eee PC T101H.  Last we heard, ASUS had pushed its release back until September "at the earliest" and were watching sales performance of the T91 before finally green-lighting the project; now, according to NetbookNews' sources, the T101H will make its official debut at CES 2010, complete with Intel's next-gen Atom N450 1.66GHz processor.

ASUS Eee Keyboard manual, photos, UWB details arrive on FCC site

We've been waiting for the ASUS Eee Keyboard for a very long time, at least that's how it feels, so it's good to see some movement happening over at the FCC.  They've just published the Eee Keyboard's user manual, together with a whole batch of external, internal and wireless-testing photos.  Among the details there's a fair few shots of the media-centric nettop/keyboard hybid's UWB (ultrawideband) system.

ASUS Eee Top ET2002T and ET2203T getting October 22nd release

ASUS Eee Top ET2002T and ET2203T getting October 22nd release

ASUS's Eee Top ET2002T and ET2203T all-in-one nettops may have been confirmed for the US since August, but it's taken the company a little while longer to discuss plants for them in the UK.  Now seems as good a time as any to revisit what you get from either a 20- or 21.6-inch nettop, based on Intel's Atom dual-core 330 in the case of the smaller machine, or a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo chips in the larger.

Brando bmorn BM-888 touchscreen PMP manages 720p HD

Brando bmorn BM-888 touchscreen PMP manages 720p HD

We're used to Brando having a selection of - dare we say it - moderately rubbish USB peripherals and other novelty nonsense, but their latest PMP actually has us tempted.  The 7-inch touchscreeen bmorn BM-888 apparently supports 720p video through a TV output, and can play back MPEG (AVI), RM, RMVB and FLV video files along with lossless audio and image files.

MSI Wind U150 touchscreen Windows 7 netbook confirmed, plus AMD Yukon U210

MSI have confirmed previous leaks that they are developing a convertible touchscreen netbook that will run Windows 7 on Intel's upcoming Pine Trail chipset.  The MSI Wind U150 will take on ASUS' Eee PC T91; however there's some confusion as to when it might arrive.  MSI have tipped Pine Trail's official debut as taking place at CES 2010, while Intel maintain that the new Atom processors are on course for a late-2009 release.

ASUS Eee Top ET2002T and ET2203T Ion all-in-ones confirmed for US

The ASUS Eee Top ET2002T all-in-one - which slots NVIDIA's Ion GPU into the nettop - has made its official appearance on the company's US site, together with getting an official announcement along with its 22-inch ET2203T sibling..  First spotted on a French retailer's site last week, the ET2002T packs Intel's dual-core Atom 330 processor together with a 20-inch 16:9 aspect touchscreen display and DVD burner.

Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI touchscreen netbook with 4GB RAM

Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI touchscreen netbook with 4GB RAM

Considering we were so quietly excited about the upcoming 7-inch Viliv S7 last week (and, frankly, before), we can't really argue with this new touchscreen convertible netbook either.  The Suzuki Neutron 701 MNI has a name that's both daft and reminiscent of early Eee PC models, but inside there's that same Intel Atom Z520 processor that keeps popping up to frustrate us.

We didn't especially like the Z520 when it came in the Acer Aspire One 751 - in fact we felt it hopelessly undermined it - but there's always the chance that the dainty Suzuki might make better use of its equally-dainty CPU.

Kohjinsha SK3 7-inch touchscreen netbook gets video unboxing

Kohjinsha's SK3 UMPC landed quietly in Japan back in June, and since then we've heard little about the 7-inch touchscreen convertible.  Happily the team over at Conics have been able to source at least one SK3, and they've shared the video unboxing with us.  Let's just say, unless they have particularly large hands at Conics, the little Kohjinsha really is tiny.
