In my possession I have HTC's latest attempt at a slider. This here is the myTouch 4G Slide running over on T-Mobile with those super fast 4G speeds. It takes everything you liked about the myTouch 4G and adds those few features we liked in the 3G slide and poof -- we have the myTouch 4G Slide. This bad boy has a dual-core 1.2 Ghz CPU and a slide out QWERTY keyboard to keep you all busy. I must admit though, the camera is pretty neat too. Head on past the break for more details!

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide May Arrive July 27

T-Mobile's myTouch 4G Slide, also known as the HTC Doubleshot, is now rumored for a July 27 release. Back when T-Mobile's roadmap leaked, it was believed that the device would hit stores by July 6. FCC documents showed up on June 1 that further supported an imminent launch. But now a purported screenshot of an updated list of T-Mobile launch dates has surfaced and reveals that the myTouch 4G Slide may have to wait another three weeks.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide official: QWERTY Android with boosted camera

T-Mobile has officially announced the myTouch 4G Slide, the carrier's latest Android smartphone and another QWERTY handset from HTC. Packing HSPA+ connectivity for T-Mobile USA's 4G network, the myTouch 4G Slide has a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera; it's that camera which the carrier is most proud of, though, with improved low-light performance thanks to a new f/2.2 wide aperture lens and a backlit sensor, along with the claim of zero shutter lag and in-camera HDR.

T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q Review

This week we've gotten our hands on the next generation of myTouch devices for T-Mobile, one with a push-out QWERTY keyboard, the other without. Both of these devices are essentially identical save for the slight difference in hardware with the keyboard, otherwise they've both got a 4-inch display at 480 x 800 pixel resolution, a 5 megapixel camera on their backs with a single LED flash, and they've got single-core 1.4GHz processor inside as well. With a keyboard you've got the myTouch Q, and without a keyboard you've got the myTouch, and both of these devices are manufactured by Huawei.

This week we've got our hands on the newest set of myTouch phones from T-Mobile, both of them having essentially the same specifications and being made by Huawei. While there are some LG devices out there that have essentially the same names as these two devices, rest assured: these are made by Huawei and will be popping up at T-Mobile very, very soon. Now that we're clear on that, let's have at it: both devices work with Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread with Huawei's own unique user interface, both have a 4-inch display at 480 x 800 pixel resolution, and both work with 5 megapixel cameras on the back.
