Sony has added two new cameras to its lineup, the NEX-F3 that we saw leaked not too long ago, and an entry level SLT camera, the Alpha SLT-A37. The NEX-F3 will feature the same interchangeable lens system and APS-C sensor as its cousins, but in a more affordable package and with some minor tweaks. Sony announces new Handycam NEX-VG20 full HD camcorder

In addition to the four new cameras announced this morning, Sony has also introduced a new Handycam full HD camcorder called the NEX-VG20. Its predecessor, the NEX-VG10, was Sony's first consumer model to offer interchangeable lenses. Nikon outs six new Coolpix cams

I mentioned this morning already that Sony has unveiled its new DSLR and other cameras. Nikon is also showing off some new point and shoot digital cameras in the Coolpix family. The new cameras include the Coolpix P7100, AW100, S1200pj, S8200, S6200, and the S100. The P7100 is a 10.1MP camera with a 3-inch rear LCD. The lens is a 7.1x optical zoom unit with wide-angle. Sony has announced the addition of four new cameras to its lineup. The announcement includes the official launch of the Sony Alpha A77 DSLR that we have been seeing in leaks for a while now. In fact, some specs of the A77 leaked earlier this week. The official introduction is for the Alpha A77 and A65 DSLR cameras along with some interchangeable lens NEX cameras including the NEX-5N and NEX-7. Sony E-mount interchangeable lens spec goes public in April

Sony opted not to use the Micro Four Thirds standard for its NEX interchangeable lens cameras, instead developing its own E-mount system, and now it plans to open that technology up for third-party lens manufacturers. As well as allowing for third-party E-mount lenses for use with the NEX-3, NEX-5 and NEX-VG10 cameras, it will also allow for mount adapters for other manufacturers' lenses to be attached to Sony's models.
