Having been prematurely revealed yesterday, Sony Ericsson have officially announced the Vivaz S60 smartphone, the device formerly known as the Kurara. Expected to drop in Q1 2010, the Vivaz has an 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera capable of 720p HD video recording, 3G and WiFi. Sony Ericsson have announced - and subsequently yanked - the Vivaz, the somewhat bizarre official name for the Kurara touchscreen Symbian device we've been seeing over the past few months. Packing an 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with 720p HD video recording, image stabilization and face detection, the Vivaz also gets a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, WiFi and 3G, and A-GPS. Sony Ericsson's as-yet unannounced Kurara touchscreen smartphone has stayed still for long enough to get a non-blurry photo, and as you might have guessed it's mobile-review's Eldar Murtazin responsible for the shot.
