The Kinect has seen some interesting uses from various games, with some trying to incorporate the motion controls directly into gameplay, while others use it as a learning tool, but Fifa 13 may take things one step further. According to The Telegraph, Fifa 13 will listen in on the player and pick up any swearing or bad language using the Kinect’s microphone. The game will then let that influence the referee in the football game, which could lead to harsher judgements.

The next console generation is technically getting underway with this year's release of the Wii U, but to many gamers, the next generation won't truly arrive until the next Xbox and PlayStation are introduced as well. When that will happen is really anyone's guess - we've heard plenty of rumors, but Microsoft and Sony are both remaining tight-lipped on their plans for new consoles. Today, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told Gamasutra that his company is ready for the next generation to kick off, saying that a new lineup of consoles would do a lot to spark innovation within the industry.

Whenever there's an announcement of a massively multiplayer online role playing game coming from a giant like Bethesda, there's a single power-trailer to go with it. What we're seeing today is that trailer, and it's telling us such a small amount of information about the game that it'll set your mind on fire. This game is set to have a three-faction player-verses-player model, will bring on a bit of gameplay not unlike what we've seen in Dark Age of Camelot, and will be developed by the team at Zenimax Online Studios.

Developer Bethesda has just announced that they're actively working on The Elder Scrolls Online, a massively multiplayer interpretation of the wildly successful Elder Scrolls series. The game itself will be developed by Bethesda's sister company Zenimax Online Studios, and set a thousand years before the events of Skyrim.
