Samsung Galaxy Player YP-GB1 Android PMP headed to CES 2011

Samsung is readying a new PMP version of its Galaxy S family of Android smartphones, with the Samsung Galaxy Player YP-GB1 expected to make its debut at CES 2011 next month. The 4-inch WVGA PMP measures 9.9mm thick and uses a Super LCD display rather than Super AMOLED; it also loses the cellular connectivity, with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS, though Samsung Hub says that does free up room for a T-DMB digital TV tuner.

Samsung Tegra 2 tablet for 2011 tipped

Samsung is the latest company to be tipped as readying a Tegra 2 based tablet, joining Acer, ASUS and Toshiba in the roster of firms expected to release slates based on the NVIDIA chipset in early 2011. The leaked info, passed to DigiTimes from their usual notebook manufacturer sources, doesn't give any potential specifications for the Samsung tablet, but does suggest that NVIDIA has been slashing Tegra 2 pricing in an attempt to score new business. Samsung Galaxy Tab for US Cellular Launching November 19th for $399

While Verizon and AT&T may be opting to keep the Galaxy Tab as contract-free devices, it looks like US Cellular is taking a bit of a different route.
