The Samsung Galaxy Note III, which will be launching in September according to some rumors, has surfaced in various leaks and sketches, but most of what has been revealed about the device concerns its specifications, with images being slight, and those that are published being fairly low in quality. Now a couple shots said to be of the prototype device have surfaced, and one shows the handset's internals.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 artificially tuned for benchmarks research spots

Samsung Galaxy S 4 artificially tuned for benchmarks research spots

Samsung tailored its Galaxy S 4 to deliver the best possible scores on popular Android benchmarking tools, investigations have revealed, despite apps potentially not getting the same power for real-world use. The AnandTech research was sparked by claims Samsung was reserving its fastest graphics chip speeds for select benchmarking apps alone, with games and other software only ever seeing slower performance from the Exynos 5 Octa processor found in select models of the Galaxy S 4. The motivation behind the tinkering appears to be to ensure the flagship smartphone posts consistently high benchmarking numbers for comparison with other devices, even if that doesn't necessarily translate to its everyday abilities.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

With the mid-sized tablet in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 series you're getting the only device on the market to go to war with the similarly-sized Galaxy Note. For Samsung it would appear easy to create so many device sizes that there's got to be one you're fond of, but here with the Galaxy Tab 3 generation of devices, it becomes so thick in the industry that the company redefines what it means to cannibalize one's own sales. That said, pretend the rest of the Samsung smart device universe doesn't exist and you've got a solid competitor for the 8-inch (or thereabouts) tablet market.
