Well would you take a look at that! What we've got here is nothing less than a full roadmap of the more important software updates planned by RIM for their BlackBerry platform. Inside you'll see several versions of Facebook, Social Feeds, Flickr, Twitter, and even the next big fat version of BlackBerry OS: QNX, more than likely OS 7.0! Dell smartphone/tablet roadmaps leak: Android Ice Cream smartphones & Windows 8 slates

What appears to be Dell's roadmaps for smartphones and tablets over the next twelve months have leaked, with mention of Windows 8 for tablets and both Android Ice Cream and "next gen" Windows Phone 7 for smartphones. According to AndroidCentral and WPCentral's sources, four new tablets are in the works: the Dell Gallo in April, followed by the Dell Sterling in Q4 2011 and the Dell Opus One and Dell Silver Oak in Q1 2012, all running Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

BlackBerry 2011 CDMA roadmap leaks: Monaco, Sedona, Curve Touch & Bold Touch

RIM's 2011 CDMA device roadmap has leaked, bringing with it details of a renewed push for the Canadian company into touchscreen handsets. According to what looks like a RIM presentation passed to CrackBerry, the BlackBerry PlayBook release in Q2 2011 will be shortly followed by the all-touch BlackBerry Monaco, a 1.2GHz CDMA/UMTS World Phone hybrid with a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with flash.

Verizon iPhone deal 4yrs in the making; shared roadmap ahead

Verizon's iPhone negotiations spanned several years, according to the carrier, and will see them obligated to share network roadmap information with Apple. In return, Apple will grant Verizon access to their own product roadmap, though we shouldn't expect to see any device on that list bearing the carrier's logo. Speaking to BusinessWeek, Verizon president Lowell McAdam confirmed that the Verizon iPhone 4 is the culmination of near nine months of technical collaboration.

Today WebOS Internals' Rod Whitby sent a few words out in a speech at webOS Developer Day in NYC about webOS Homebrew development. All the way back to a million years ago, 2009, when the Palm Pre was released, to now, and looking ahead. Preware 2.0 Plans include the following: Instant On. Need I say more? Everyone loves that. Currently loading Preware requires a scan and parse of all needed files - in the future, loading packages from db8 will make the whole process more dynamic and quick. Then, the db8 feature will more more easily sync an app to the cloud, allowing it to update in the background.
