According to the roadmap the expected Tango flavor of WinPo for lower end devices will be launching in Q2 2012. The roadmap is supposedly up to date as of October 2011. That is a few months back now and things change quickly in the tech world.

Intel roadmap shows Core i 3000 CPUs inbound for Q2 2012

Intel is set to toss some new processors out into the market early in 2012. A new roadmap leak has shown that in Q2 2012 Intel will launch the Core i 3000 series processors. The specific month pegged for the launch is April. Previously the chips had been pegged for a March or April launch. The Core i 3000 family of processors will be the first to hit the market using 22nm transistors.

What we're looking at here is a completely unverified, yet generally believable roadmap that's been picked up by PocketNow which shows a whole handful of devices releasing on the USA ST&T network during the second half of 2011. This list includes a whole batch of Android phones, all of them running Android 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 Gingerbread, two BlackBerry 7 devices and two Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices. Educated guesses abound!

Samsung insists leaked roadmap “not accurate”

Samsung has attempted to pour cold water onto a rumored smartphone and tablet roadmap leak earlier this week, suggesting that "the details being cited are not accurate in this case." The supposed product line-up, emerging from a Lithuanian retailer and since pulled offline, included such gems as a 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 resolution GT-I9250 handset running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and a 7-inch Honeycomb Galaxy Tab.

Samsung roadmap leak tips 720p I9250 Android ICS phone, more

Details of upcoming smartphones and tablets purportedly from a leaked Samsung roadmap have emerged, with retailer Mobili linija spilling the beans on not only a 7-inch Galaxy Tab replacement but a pair of supersized Android handsets one of which runs Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung's 7-inch slate, the P6200, is tipped to run Android 3.x Honeycomb on a 1024 x 600 display, with HSPA+ and twin cameras, a 3-megapixel shooter on the back and 2-megapixels up front. It will also apparently be available as the P6210, a WiFi-only version.

LG’s Roadmap Leaked, Includes Windows Phone 7 Mango Fantasy And Dual-Core Prada K2

The roadmap for LG's 2H 2011 smartphone lineup has been leaked along with specs and images revealed by the folks at PocketNow. They were not allowed to reproduce the images, and hence have offered up some renderings, which show a strong lineup of both high-end and mid-tier Android devices as well as one Windows Phone 7 Mango handset. All the devices are set to launch before the end of this year.

Qualcomm roadmap leaks; Rivals “haven’t mastered” power/performance balance says VP

Details of Qualcomm's processor roadmap for 2012 and 2013 have emerged, with the company planning to leverage its "Krait" next-gen chips for up to 2.5GHz quadcore MSM8974 SoCs. According to a roadmap leaked to MobileTechWorld, the MSM8930 and MSM8230 will arrive first, in Q3 2012, with dualcore 1-1.2GHz Krait cores, Adreno 305 graphics and LTE/HSPA+/TD-SCDMA support. It's all part of what Qualcomm chipset VP Raj Tulluri described to SlashGear as a "measured" approach to the battery and performance balance, something the exec doesn't believe rivals NVIDIA or Texas Instrument can compete on.

The TouchPad from HP only went live in the last few days. We posted up our review of the TouchPad already and found the hardware lacking, but WebOS was pretty good. I guess HP is already set to refresh that TouchPad hardware, if the leaked roadmap can be believed. According go the roadmap an updated TouchPad is set to land this summer. Specifically the new 64GB TouchPad and a 4G version will land in August.

Pixel Qi had promised some new screen technology at Computex this week, and the company has delivered, with a fresh 10.1-inch super-thin panel. Unlike the existing 10.1-inch screen, as used in the Notion Ink Adam, the new panel runs at 1280 x 800 making it ideal for Android Honeycomb slates; meanwhile, as ARMdevices' video demo shows, it's far more sunlight-visible than the iPad.
