Samsung mobile 2013 roadmap leaks: Galaxy Note 8.0 leads the way

Samsung mobile 2013 roadmap leaks: Galaxy Note 8.0 leads the way

A series of Samsung smartphone and tablet-like devices have been leaked in a roadmap that very much appears to be showing the first full quarter of the manufacturer's 2013 market year. This roadmap comes from TechnoBuffalo (as the slides here make clear) and they're reasonably certain that their sources are legitimate - from what we're seeing here and the collection of tips from sources we've seen over the past few weeks, we're inclined to believe it as well. What you're going to see here are a set of Samsung devices that, other than the first entry with the Galaxy Note 8.0, appear to be mid-to-lower-tier entries for the international end-user.

iPhone 5 in multi-colored plastic predicted in Apple 2013 roadmap

This week KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a projected roadmap of Apple products spanning the next 12 months, this map including no less than an iPhone 5S and a new iteration of the iPhone 5, complete with plastic casing. While an actual "official" leaked roadmap as such leaked from Apple would be a first sign of the apocalypse, we're ready and willing to have a peek at this possible vision for the future, especially given the relatively good future foretelling we've seen come from Kuo specifically in the past.

Gameloft 2013 games roadmap leaks in full

This afternoon Gameloft appears to have lost the cover on what very much seems to be a legitimate list of all the games they're planning on releasing in the year 2013. This list is one that several Android gaming-centric sites are claiming to be legitimate, where in reality many (if not all) of the games could have been guessed simply based on the release schedule and success of game series over the past couple of years. Can you guess a few of them before we hit the full list below?

The outspoken CEO confirmed the truck on Tesla's roadmap in the aftermath of the Model S winning 2013 Car of the Year, telling Motor Trend that it "could really be a big improvement in truck technology" though not specifying how, beyond being more environmentally-friendly, that would be the case.

T-Mobile Roadmap releases Windows Phone 8X on November 14th

Just incase you didn't know that the Windows Phone 8X was coming to T-Mobile, an alledged roadmap of the carrier's upcoming releases has made it clear. This roadmap from TmoNews also lists the LG Optimus L9 Android device, a Samsung Toba (possibly a tablet we've not heard of before), and a Dell BMW - this very likely being a laptop ready for action with Windows 8, starting up T-Mobile's laptop efforts again like AT&T is doing with their set of notebook releases. This list goes on as well, showing off a color refresh for the Galaxy S II and a BlackBerry Armstrong device.

Samsung details Jelly Bean upgrade roadmap (and it’s not all good)

Today's Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III will be "gradually introduced" to markets outside Eastern Europe, Samsung has said, but it's bad news for slightly older devices as subsequent updates will leave many out in the cold. Samsung has listed the fifteen smartphones and tablets in line for Android 4.1, and there are some notable omissions, including the original Galaxy Tab 10.1.
