Motorola DROID RAZR HD expected in October

Motorola disappointed some fans when it didn’t reveal a new smartphone last week, initially teasing onlookers via its Facebook page with a mystery LTE enabled Motorola phone. Still, leaks and reports have suggested that the DROID RAZR HD is coming, and now a source speaking to Hot Hardware has indicated that the handset should finally arrive in time for October. Not only that, but it will be joined by the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, offering substantially better battery life.

Motorola announces RAZR V for Canada

Motorola may have announced the Atrix HD for the United States, but it’s also bringing another phone to the Canadian market, the RAZR V. It looks fairly similar to the original RAZR, but has seen a slight redesign. Motorola say the RAZR V is 8.4mm thick and features the same Kevlar back, and the company is quick to point out the numerous software enhancements it has added on top of Android.

Another day another leak here for Motorola. After seeing the first press image of what is rumored to be AT&T's Motorola Atrix 3, we now have a leaked photo of the upcoming Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR HD. Showing the full Kevlar backplate and sleek design of the new version, looking very similar to the original DROID RAZR other than a few minor changes. It looks like Motorola went full Kevlar on the back, and got rid of that plastic border around the device. More details after the break.

Motorola DROID RAZR HD spied in Cellebrite system

There have been an increasingly number of Motorola DROID RAZR HD leaks lately. The phone was first revealed as the DROID Fighter back in March, looking awfully similar to the current RAZR but with a larger 4.6-inch screen and 3,300mAh battery. The handset was mentioned again in leaked EXIF data last month, and another leak out of China showed the phone running Ice Cream Sandwich. The device has popped up again, this time in the Cellebrite database.

Motorola DROID RAZR now available in blue

First there was the DROID RAZR. Then, there was the DROID RAZR MAXX. And now there’s the DROID RAZR in blue, although just like the white version before it, it’s more of a blue trim than a blue phone. Verizon has announced that the blue version will be in “select stores” starting from today, with online ordering possible from May 17th. Otherwise it’s the exactly the same phone.

Motorola has obviously decided the flip phone is due for a comeback, with the new Motorola GLEAM+ delivering some clamshell action with a bargain price tag.
