Toshiba has revealed its latest 3D gaming laptop, the Qosmio X870, toting a 17.3-inch Full HD display and "next generation" NVIDIA GPUs. Packing Intel Core Sandy Bridge processors and up to 2TB of HDD or hybrid SSD storage, the Qosmio X870 is aiming its gaudy red and black color scheme at the dedicated gamer, with the promise of Resolution+ upscaling to turn lower-res content HD and convert 2D to 3D. Toshiba unveils new AIO PC called Qosmio DX730

Toshiba has a new AIO computer that will take up little space on the desk and looks really cool too. The company is called the Qosmio DX730 and it has a 23-inch screen and is styled to look similar to the REGZA line of HDTVs. The DX730 has a touchscreen as well. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 resolution and it has a Freeview tuner integrated. That allows the PC to tune in TV channels. Read The Full Story

Toshiba Glasses-Free 3D Panels for Tablets Mentioned

The fine folks at Toshiba have announced their intent to create some fantastic 15.6-inch lenticular lens-based panels for notebooks while tablets also sit very much in the mix (though perhaps in the hands of the competitors, according to industry sources.) These panels will be developed by Taiwan-based AU Optronics (AUO) for some brand new naked-eye 2D/3D switchable notebook models that'll be launched in August for right around $2,100USD. LG Cinema 3D DX2000 display uses eye-tracking for glasses-free 3D

LG has outed its latest 3D monitor, the LG Cinema 3D DX2000, and like Toshiba's recent Qosmio F750 3D notebook it uses eye-tracking to offer glasses-free 3D images and video no matter from what angle you're looking at the screen. A webcam integrated into the bezel of the monitor tracks the viewer's eye position and then adjusts the parallax-barrier 3D display to suit, whether they're looking from the side, above or below. Toshiba outs new Satellite L750 laptop

Toshiba has been trotting out a few new laptops this month with some cool features. The L700 was one of the notebooks that were unveiled earlier this week along with several others. Toshiba also has a new L750 laptop series that slots into its Satellite line of consumer machines. The new notebook has a cool design and comes in more than one color. I think 3D is cool on a notebook or a TV, but some things I prefer to view in 2D. I don’t want to have to read a lot of text wearing 3D glasses for instance. Toshiba has officially recalled select Sandy Bridge based notebooks, after Intel admitted a silicon flaw in the 6 Series Cougar Point chipset could lead to degradation of SATA 3Gbps connectivity. Over thirty Toshiba SKUs - across the Satellite, Portege and Qosmio lines - have been affected, with the company asking customers to "return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund."
