Some unofficial numbers on Sony's PlayStation 4 sales in Japan have surfaced by way of the Japanese website Famitsu, which says in excess of 320,000 of the next-generation consoles sold in the first two days of its availability in the nation. If accurate, the console has vastly outnumbered the number of PS3 sales that took place in the same two-day span.
This week a discovery has been made in the production code of the Beta build for Titanfall which suggests that more than one platform was taken into consideration when this title was being developed. This should come as no surprise as early chatter on the game let it be known that the game would be developed with the engine known as Source.

While one thing doesn't necessarily have to do with the other, Xbox One and Xbox 360 topped game sales in January.
Earlier today, NPD Group published its findings for last month, and in them both Sony and Microsoft found reasons to brag: Microsoft for seeing the most game sales among competing consoles, and Sony for its PlayStation 4 being the bestselling in hardware, trumping the Xbox One.
NPD Group's January 2014 numbers are in, and with it Xbox has taken the bragging rights for most sold games in January across both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. A total of 2.27 million games were sold in January of this year, making up 47-percent of the market share and trumping the competing -- and bestselling -- PlayStation 4.
While we're still not entirely solid on how - or if it makes a difference how - the game will be published through the PlayStation 4, we have been made aware that Worms Battlegrounds will be amongst the first self-published games on the Xbox One. This publishing will be done through Microsoft's ID@Xbox program and the game will be released sometime inside 2014. The same is true for the PlayStation 4 version of this Worms title, both titles coming from the developers at Team 17.
