BeamBox MiLi Evolution iPhone Projector gets bargain price-tag

We're so used to seeing pico-projectors integrated into futuristic concepts that have little chance of shipping, that to hear about a product actually headed to shelves is quite unusual.  BeamBox's MiLi Evolution iPhone Projector looks like the sort of thing some industrial designer would use to try to make his name, but the combination iPhone/iPod touch case, projector and charging cradle is actually expected to go up for preorder at the end of November.

Nikon Coolpix S1000pj gets hands-on: fun & convenient [Video]

Nikon's Coolpix S1000pj projector-camera may only have got the official nod from the company this morning, but that hasn't stopped Stuff.TV from going hands-on with the 12.1-megapixel shooter already.  They found the S1000pj to be surprisingly good fun, with the VGA quality from the pico-projector making up in communal usability what it lacks in visual fidelity.

Wearable projection computer project: Internet ‘sixth sense’

A group of MIT students have developed a wearable computer that projects its display onto any nearby surface, and is controlled by hand gestures and voice-recognition.  A prototype was demonstrated at TED this week, capable of projecting a watch face onto the user's wrist after they trace a circle over it, capturing images framed by their fingers, and pulling up information about an individual and projecting it onto them during conversation.
