AT&T LG Optimus G Pro tipped in FCC post

This week the LG Optimus G Pro appears to have popped its head up with AT&T 4G LTE in mind as the FCC approves with a resounding thumbs up. What we're seeing here is an FCC approval process posting with what's said to be the code-name for the LG Optimus G Pro, just a few characters away from the original Optimus G. This device, if indeed coming to AT&T this Spring, will be a competitor for the also-giant Samsung Galaxy Note II (and possibly III) the whole year long.

In an effort to promote their upcoming Galaxy S IV handset, Samsung has plastered Times Square in New York City with billboards and advertisements promoting the new device. However, LG has stepped in to rain on their parade with its own ad that mocks Samsung and the "4" theme. The ad, which is placed right above Samsung's billboard, promotes the company's new Optimus G.

LG announces Smart Video eye-recognition tech for Optimus G Pro

Looks like LG is going to be debuting its own eye-recognition technology, possibly to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S IV's rumored eye-scrolling tech. LG's new tech will be available for the LG Optimus G Pro next month in Korea. It will be part of an entire value pack of updates, which includes a new camera feature, a "Magic Remote Pad and Text Keypad", customizable LED lighting, and the first Android emoticons to come in different colors.

This week the LG Optimus G hits Europe in several markets it's never been available in before with a collection of feature upgrades that'll make it the most enticing device it's ever been. LG unveils Optimus F5 and F7 4G LTE smartphones ahead of MWC

Ahead of the upcoming Mobile World Congress, LG has unveiled two new handsets in the F-series, the Optimus F5 and the Optimus F7. These 4G LTE smartphones both feature mid-to-high range specs, and feature both the convenience of QSlide and the functionality of Live Zooming, which was previously only available for Optimus G. LG Optimus G Pro starts US and global spread in Q2

LG hasn't been shy with the Optimus G Pro, its 5.5-inch 1080p quadcore behemoth, but now we know the oversized Android handset is headed to North America sometime in Q2 2013. Fronted by a 1920 x 1080 Full HD display that's capable of 50-percent more brightness than rival phones, LG says, the Optimus G Pro also introduces some new software features, including a "Dual Recording" system whereby both the front and rear cameras shoot simultaneously, meaning that whoever is taking the photo also gets included in a 360-degree panorama.

This week the folks at LG have revealed their fair share of smartphones, not the least of them being the LG Optimus G Pro, a device we've seen several peeks of before. This device works with a massive 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. This device will be unleashed in South Korea first and has not yet been confirmed for Europe or the United States.
