Why Nintendo Has No Choice But to Go Multiplatform

Why Nintendo Has No Choice But to Go Multiplatform

I know what I’m about to say will annoy millions of Nintendo fans around the globe and maybe even make some of the executives at the company scoff, but the way I see it, there’s no other way out for Nintendo than to end its love affair with consoles and go multiplatform with its hit titles.

I understand that, for years, Nintendo has rebuffed all suggestions that it should bring its titles to other multiple platforms. How Important Is Buying Used Games?

How Important Is Buying Used Games?

As I’ve said here before, I think that used games are an integral component in the value proposition presented to gamers. There are some people that don’t believe they should pay $60 for a game, and thus, wait a week or so for a game to launch and then head to a place like GameStop to buy a cheaper, used version.

The second update, says NPD, will include not only a higher-definition display than the first edition - it'll have a boosted mobile processor under the hood, as well.

That rumor has surfaced again, this time with NPD DisplaySearch telling the folks over at CNET that Microsoft will produce a 7.5-inch tablet of some sort, and that unlike the late-2013 date supplied by the original sources, the tablet won't be available until 2014.
