AT&T ‘regrets’ Unlimited Data
This week AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson spoke up with the New York Times on his biggest regret, that being AT&T's first introduction of unlimited mobile data for smartphone customers. This will probably not come as a huge surprise for customers who had less than an entertaining time about two years ago when unlimited data died for the first time on the network with tiered data bumping up costs each year since. But for AT&T, and every other mobile carrier for that matter, it only makes basic business sense (and dollars) that you'd make a customer pay for a product based on how much of it they take.

HTC One X Review (AT&T)
AT&T hasn’t wasted any time getting HTC’s new flagship, the One X, onto its network, though the US version of the smartphone has seen a few changes along the way. We’ve already comprehensively reviewed the One X in European, quadcore form, running NVIDIA’s Tegra 3, but the AT&T model borrows the dualcore Qualcomm S4 from its smaller One S sibling and pairs it with LTE connectivity. Bedtime reading with an e-paper based ereader has always been something of a throwback: either you leave the lights on, or you clip on a retro-style book light. B&N confirms NOOK business split being explored
Barnes & Noble has confirmed it is exploring splitting off its NOOK ereader/tablet business, investigating whether it could "unlock the value" of the ereader platform by running it as a separate endeavor. Rumored yesterday, such a move would see B&N's publishing business separated from its traditional retail arm. However, the company also admits it "over-estimated" how many monochrome NOOK Simple Touch models it would sell over the holiday period.

Barnes & Noble Q2 earnings reveal Nook Tablet as its fastest selling device
Barnes & Noble issued its fiscal Q2 2012 earnings report today, revealing its Nook line of products to be a $220 million business, while its latest Nook Tablet has become the company's fastest selling device to date. However, even with the success of its Nook sales, the company overall faced a net loss of $6.6 million this past quarter.
