Verizon Nokia tablet Lumia 2520 tipped for November 17th

The Nokia Lumia 2520 has gone by several names in the past - most recently "Sirius" - and is now being rumored to appear with Verizon first (and perhaps exclusively) in the third week of November. This bright red machine has been tipped several times to be appearing with Verizon at some point or another, coming up quick with a 10.1-inch display and no less than Windows 8.1 RT. That's the kicker - it will almost certainly be bringing on a new edition of Windows, but with the tablet-aimed RT attached to the end.

It's expected to be among a rumored six new devices to be shown off for the first time on October 22nd

Nokia tablet codename Sirius appears amongst next-wave leaks

A collection of Windows 8 and Windows RT tablets have appeared this week courtesy of well-known Windows insider Paul Thurrott, this including the long-awaited Nokia slate. The Nokia device code-named Sirius is said here to be coming with a body much like what we've seen in leaked photos, that being a reflection of what we've seen in Lumia devices - a perfect partner for the Nokia Lumia 920, it would seem. This device will be tuning in with Windows RT, believe it or not.

This tablet works with code-name Nokia RX-114 and likely runs either full Windows 8 or Windows RT, pushing with it the same processor we saw appear on this morning's reboot of the Kindle Fire.

Nokia Tablet resurfaces in patent and Adidas app preview

It's not every day you see two tips from different sources on the same product the manufacturer hasn't yet confirmed to exist. But that's what's happening this week - and though both tips didn't appear today originally, sadly enough (that'd just be too lucky), it doesn't seem entirely a coincidence that both items would be showing up so close to one another. What we've got on our hands is the two newest appearances of the fabled Nokia tablet - could it finally be time?

Nokia tablet tipped by CEO on heels of Surface

Nokia tablet tipped by CEO on heels of Surface

This week the CEO of Nokia Stephen Elop has hinted that they've once again begun considering the possibility of a tablet PC in the near future. This word comes from an interview Elop did with the Australian Financial Review in which he says the company is not announcing a tablet, but is watching the Microsoft Surface tablet specifically to see how the market will respond to Windows 8 in tablet form. Though this is not an official announcement of a tablet being created by Nokia, it does remind us that they've got tablets in mind as a potential future pathway.

Nokia tablet in testing ahead of Q4 2010 launch?

Nokia's tablet ambitions have once again reared their head, with a little more grist for the rumor mill.  According to DigiTimes' sources at component manufacturers, Nokia has apparently produced "about 100 engineering samples" of a tablet device which it will be using for testing; the tablet has a 7- or 9-inch touchscreen, they believe, and is manufactured by Foxconn.  The rumors follow earlier talk of a "large screen" device with OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics for gaming.

Nokia tablet “as early as fall” reckons hopeful analyst

Nokia's Internet Tablet range died with the introduction of the N900, having failed to set the market alight in any great respect, but at least one analyst reckons the Finnish company is ramping up to take on Apple's iPad.  Rodman Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar - said to be "close to Nokia's technology partners" by TheStreet - is half predicting and half hoping that Nokia jump into the tablet segment again, saying that "this is a new window, and Nokia had better be at the starting gate if and when the product category takes off."
