Everyone including our own Michael Crider seems to be lauding Nokia's effort in this device which takes their well-received Windows Phone lineup thus far and boosts it to what might be the perfect chassis size with a 4.3-inch display inside. The only down-side appears to be - if tech reviewers across the web are correct - the operating system.

Nokia has launched a new beta app for media placeshifting, baking DLNA streaming into Windows Phone and eventually helping the platform to play nicely with the Xbox 360 and PS3. Shaken BlackBerry firm RIM is readying a new chairman, sources suggest, as current co-CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie step down from their positions as co-chairs in an attempt to placate increasingly vocal shareholders. Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 Windows Phone devices leaked

Before tomorrow's big Nokia keynote in which Stephen Elop is set to drop some heavy bombs, a couple of them appear to have left the hatch a bit early. Photos here show both the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710, both of them set to run Windows Phone in some form or another. The first of these two, the 800, is also known as the Sea Ray in previous reports, while the 710 has previously been code-named Sabre. Both devices appear to be set to launch in European markets this November with a USA launch date set for next year.

The company has a long road to go since it has fallen significantly behind in the smartphone realm. One of the smartphones that has been rumored in the past is called the Nokia 801 or the Nokia N8-01 smartphone. Previously the phone had been tipped as the N9, but the phone in these photos doesn't look like the phone said to be the N9 or N8-02 we spied back in July.
